|MARCIA DILIBERTO holds a bachelor's degree in liberal arts and completed her professional training at Traphagan School of Fashion Design in Manhattan where she earned a Certificate in Fashion Design. Her career in the fashion industry began with a two year stint with Pierre Cardin as an Associate Designer in the sportswear division after which she freelanced for several years in various markets including children's wear, misses, junior sportswear, maternity, bathing suits and uniforms. Her own label, which was available in specialty stores and boutiques around the country won her recognition in WWD, and her garments were shown at Studio 54 and other NYC clubs. As well, she was acknowledged in New York magazine and local newspapers for giftware lines she designed and developed for various clients, including the Metropolitan Opera, Bath and Body Works and other exclusive gift shops in NYC, Philadelphia and Washington, DC. Prior to joining the BFA department at Parsons School of Design in 2002, Ms. DiLiberto was a faculty member in the Continuing Education Fashion Department since 1994, and continued to teach fashion and design related courses at various other Manhattan colleges. Central to her personal interests are photography and travel. Most recently, a photograph is on exhibit at Guild Hall, East Hampton.|
|JORDAN ANDERSON PAUFVE Born and raised in the Midwest, Jordan moved to New York City in 2004 to study fashion design at Parsons the New School for Design. Immediately following graduation from the BFA program, Jordan went on to work for Ralph Lauren and Isaac Mizrahi where she learned how to design everything from jeans to national ad campaigns. In 2011 she moved to Chicago and took a job with Lia Sophia designing jewelry. Her designs for Lia Sophia have been featured in OK Magazine, People Style Watch, Redbook, O magazine, as well as spotted on celebrities including Solange Knowles, Nikki Reed, Alessandra Ambrosio, Nina Dobrev, Olivia Munn, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Katie Cassidy.|
|CLAIRE W. SMITH Moving to New York to pursue a career as a designer, Claire attended Parsons the New School for Design for fashion. While still in college Claire co-launched, Weldon Layne, which was featured in WWD as a new brand to watch. Completing her degree took priority and after graduating she gained experience at Isaac Mizrahi and LOFT where she discovered an interest in sweater design. Claire now designs for Madewell, a brand owned by J. Crew, where she specializes in sweaters and swimsuits. Claire’s work for Madewell has been featured in publications such as Glamour, InStyle and Marie Claire as well as spotted on celebrities including Reese Witherspoon, Rachel McAdams, January Jones, Emma Stone, and Malia Obama.|
